Since
2001, Noah's Ark's Caring Community Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (CCSNAP)
has been educating the public, via its Big
Fix Campaigns, to the single most important thing we can do to end
the tragedy of pet overpopulation—spaying and neutering our companion
animals. (Read: Five Good
Reasons to Spay or Neuter Your Pet.)
Started with the help of two local Girl Scouts, Mary Murphy and Cassie
Schmitz, and run entirely by volunteers, CCSNAP provides funds to those
people requiring financial assistance with their dog's or cat's surgery,
and to good Samaritans who rescue and care for abandoned animals with
their own funds and require some additional financial help to pay for
the spay or neuter surgeries.
To make a tax-deductible donation to CCSNAP, please send checks to: NAAF/CCSNAP,
P.O. Box 2005, Fairfield, IA 52556. Because CCSNAP is run entirely by
volunteers, 100% of your donation goes to help pay for surgeries.
