Spay/Neuter Assistance

Caring Community Spay/Neuter Assistance Program

The Caring Community Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (CCSNAP) provides vouchers to spay and neuter companion animals of local families needing financial support. In 2016 alone, Noah’s Ark subsidized 976 surgeries for area dogs and cats whose owners lacked the resources to do so.

Participating veterinarians provide the surgeries with the cost shared by CCSNAP and the pet owner. Program guidelines will let you know if you qualify.

To request a voucher, call CCSNAP at 641-472-6080 or send us an email.

If you do not meet program guidelines, check out these other spay/neuter programs.

Since its inception in 2001 through 2016, CCSNAP has helped to spay and neuter more than 8,500 community dogs and cats. This is in addition to all shelter dogs and cats, who since 2006, are altered prior to adoption.
