Hi! My name is Lyndon and I’m purrfectly ready for my new home. Let me tell you my story...
When I arrived at the shelter back in September, the staff thought I was not quite right in my mid-section. It looked really small to them compared to the rest of my body. So, off I went to IVRC in Des Moines where I was diagnosed with a condition called Pectus Excavatum. Sounds serious, right? All that meant was that I had a congenital deformity of my sternum. I was lucky because it could be fixed with a custom made fiberglass cast that I wore for 6 long weeks. Whew! I am all better now. My rib cage has been expanded and I am ready to take on the world!
My favorite thing to do is take long cat naps and occasionally play with my buddy Spice. Do you have a warm, cozy spot in your heart and home for me?
My adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip
and registration, 30 days of free pet health insurance, FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
testing, FVRCP vaccination (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus,
and Panleukopenia), as well as flea and parasite precautionary treatments.
