Shadow's Story...

Hi!

Thought I’d give you an update on Shadow. He rode like a perfect gentleman all the way back to Belmond (after a stop for a stretch at PetSmart for some doggie essentials!). He sat by my side the whole way home and enjoyed 3 hours of constant petting. He is now my “shadow” around the house! He walks fantastic on a lead…we went for quite a stroll right after we got home. The kids absolutely love him. Thank you so much for facilitating his adoption!

I checked his incision again once we got home, and he had begun to lick it again. I did acquire some steri-strips and put those on…he’s been a good boy about leaving them alone. I’ll keep an eye on it over the weekend, and if necessary have my vet look at it Monday morning.

Again…thank you so much. He’s everything I wanted and more. I’ll continue to update you as he gets more comfortable with being part of his new family. So far he seems to be pretty happy…at least his tail says so!
