Tiger Lily's Story...

Dear Janet,

Thank you so much for inquiring about Tiger Lily. She is doing wonderfully. She is a terrific addition to our family. We changed her name to Isabell and call her Izzy; which she learned very quickly. It took her a couple of days to adjust; but she pretty much owns the house and allows us to live here with her. She loves to be where we are all most all of the time.

She loves to play and be petted and also rub her face against ours; but she prefers not to be held. She does have one rather bad habit if allowed to do it. Izzy likes to chew my finger nails and toe nails; of course this is a no no and I'm not quite sure why she likes to do it; but every body has their quirks. We even had our anniversary celebration this year and quite a lot of company and she did really wonderful. She really took to my sister and her husband. Of course they are cat lovers and had brought her a little bag of toys and treats. As for the dogs; they are basically outside and are only in during really hot or cold weather.

One dog she does well with. She shares her couch as long as the dog stays on her end and Izzy stays on the other. The other dog she doesn't do as well with. He is still too much at a puppy stage and don't quite get why she doesn't want to play. Maybe by this winter he will have matured a little more and understand the rules. Izzy's house! Izzy's rules! Again thank you for allowing us to adopt her and for inquiring about our lives together.
