All dog adoptions are by appointment only. We regularly hold Adoption Days at the PetSmart store in Clive, Iowa. We can arrange to bring a dog you are interested in to an Adoption Day. Sparrow Jack's adventures around town were halted when he was picked up as a stray and taken to the local vet clinic. Jack is a true gentleman; he walks well on leash and knows basic commands. Jack's left eye has had some trauma and may only have limited sight when healed. Jack is very playful and being a Retriever mix, loves to carry things in his mouth. Jack is a very gentle dog and will make a wonderful addition for a very lucky family. He thought he looked rather handsome and agreed to wear them if it would help him find his forever home. Julius is a vivacious young dog who is outgoing and active. Statistics show that black dogs are often overlooked in shelters and the last ones to be adopted. So being a "black Pit Bull mix" is about the worse thing a shelter dog can be.
