MiloAren't I a handsome dark orange tabby? Even though I am so sweet and playful, I was abandoned by my previous owner when she moved away! I was so sad to be left outside for a couple of months fending for myself, but then a nice human got me into Noah's Ark. They've been feeding me and loving me until I can go to my forever home. I have been with other kitties, but I really do not like dogs!! I am a sweetie with small children and would just love to become the next member of your loving family. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Milo is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. GiselleI am a silver tabby female who is about 8-9 months of age... still just a youngster, but I was already mating and trying to fend for myself when my previous owner moved away and left her cats behind. The nice lady who began feeding us says that I was always one of the first to come running over with a sweet "meow" and a rub around her legs. Being in the shelter is a big change for me, but I am coming more and more out of my shell everyday. I think a calmer home environment with lots of pets would be just the ticket. I do LOVE to be petted, and I love my food. I haven't really been around dogs or kids, at least not that I remember. The ladies at Noah's Ark say I'm a precious girl who, after a rough start in life, deserves a loving home with a nice, cushy bed! Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Giselle is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. ArielAriel is a grey, orange and white dilute calico beauty who is only about 10 weeks of age. She is a big girl with lots of love and energy. Maybe a little shy at first, but she warms up very quickly. Ariel is a little more outgoing than her sister Arianna, but both are sweethearts. Ariel has been in a foster home with a large dog and 2 other kitties. She was a little hissy with the new animals at first, but within a few days, no problem. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Ariel is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. AriannaArianna is an amazing grey and orange tortoise-shell kitten, only about 10 weeks old. Arianna is a little shyer than her sister, but she is very sweet and full of spunk. She is still a little unsure of herself with the other animals in her foster home, a large dog and other cats. But every day, she gets better and better. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Arianna is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. AdorahAdorah is Arianna and Ariel's mother. Barely more than a kitten herself, this sweet one-year-old has been a great mother cat. She is white with black spots and markings. She loves to lounge by the window and especially loves to be with people. She doesn't seem to care for other dogs or cats, preferring human companionship! So she would do best in a home where she could be the only animal, or where the other animal is very submissive. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Adorah is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. GracieGracie is a sweet, playful grey kitten (with a white star on her chest) who found her way to our webmaster's front door shortly after the 4th of July. She is an energetic girl who, after exhausting herself with play, is happy to spend the rest of her day curled up in your lap or stretched out in her cat bed. Gracie loves to be petted and have her face and head scratched. She is looking for a forever home where she can spend the day entertaining you and being your cozy companion. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. PoppyI'm a 3-month-old male kitten. I think I'm mighty good-looking with my grey body with white feet, chest and tummy. I'm a little shy, since I originally came from a crowded farm that just had too many cats to care for. I am very rambunctious, and I liked the other kitties and toys at the shelter! Slightly older children may be the best bet for me. The people at Noah's Ark think I'd probably take a few days to warm up to a new family, but if you're willing to try, then so am I! What do you say? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Poppy is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. Please call us at 641-472-6080, or download our Cat Adoption Application (PDF format) and mail it to: Noah's Ark, c/o Cat Adoptions, PO Box 748, Fairfield, Iowa 52556. |

PattiYou can tell by my picture that I'm a sweetie-pie, can't you? I am very sweet to humans, but honestly, I'm not big on other animals. If I could have my pick of homes, I'd choose one with humans who would give me lots of loving and laptime, adults and older children preferably, and no other pets. The humans I've been staying with say I'm only about 4 years old - plenty of life left in me! ... Oh, and did you notice the wonderful beauty mark on my left cheek - I look just like Marilyn Monroe, don't I? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Patti is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. PotterI give new meaning to the word "adorable!" I am a 3-month old buff beige boy. My hair is medium length and as soft as down! My human friends at Noah's Ark say I'm the most outgoing kitten from my litter. I came from an overcrowded farm where I didn't get much human contact at first, so I may not be 100% sure of myself just yet, but I am making great progress! I really love to play with the other kitties and toys, and once you start petting me, my motor is hard to stop! How about you and I spend some time getting to know each other? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. Potter is available for adoption at the Noah's Ark Shelter in Fairfield. OttleyI am a cutie-pie orange tabby boy, only about 5 months old. The people who take care of me at Noah's Ark say that once I start purring, I have a motor that doesn't quit! I just like to show my appreciation for a little attention, that's all. I'm pretty easy-going, and I like other cats and dogs just fine. I also just love to be held and loved on, and my caretakers think I would do great in just about any home. I've been neutered and cared for, and am ready to head off to my forever home! Will that be yours? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |
|
P.C.I am a devastatingly handsome silver tabby with wonderful white accents on my front toes, back feet, and chest. My caretakers at Noah's Ark call me "Lanky," but I don't know what that means. I'm only 5 months old, so whatever it is, I'm sure I'll grow out of it. What I do know is that I try my best to be very outgoing and to get along with other cats and dogs (and people!). I guess I do pretty well, because the Noah's Ark folks say I'd probably do great in any home. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |

DesiI'm a sweet-as-can-be brown tabby male who's only 5 months young! Aren't I such a doll? I'm a little shyer than my brother P.C., but once you've given me a couple of days to warm up, then I'll be a purring machine. If you're someone who can show me a little patience, I will make the purrrfect companion. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |

PollyAre you head over heels for me yet? Doesn't take long, as gorgeous and sweet as I am! I'm a little girl, only 3 months old. My lovely grey and orange tortoise-shell markings are so special! I was in a foster home for a while, and did great there and in the shelter. I think it's lots of fun to play and sleep with my good pal Sebastian. The nice people at Noah's Ark say I'm wonderful with the other kitties, alternating my time between grooming/sleeping with them, and playing fun games. Aren't I precious? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |
|
SebastianIsn't my buff shorthaired coat something special? I'm just a young boy, only about 3 months old. I've been known to be a little shy at first, but within a day or two we'll be best pals. Can you believe someone as gorgeous as me was found in town wandering the streets? I had a couple of minor, temporary health issues when I was first taken in, but the wonderful people at Noah's Ark are getting me all fixed up! They say I would do well in just about any home....how about yours? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |
|
ColinI am a dashing young boy (about 4 months old) who would really love to make your day, every day. I was a little timid after being taken in off the streets, but quickly decided that a life with a family of humans is the life for me! I've done fine with people age 7 on up, and would probably do well with younger kids if they were gentle. Oh, and I get along famously with all the other pets in my foster home, too - a big dog, other cats and kittens, and a great big bunny rabbit. My foster mom says she would describe me as "Sweet, sweet, sweet!" and a sucker for a feather toy. She also says I'm very well-behaved and litter-trained. Can't you just picture my tabby-cat good looks in your home? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |
|
ColeI am young, I'm all-black, and I am gorgeous! Well, that's what I'm told, anyway. All I really know is that I love living with humans. I was scared of them when I was first taken off the streets, but I've learned something — they're great! I'm about 4 months old, and am sweet, silly, laid-back, playful, and cuddly all rolled into one. My foster mom says I'm a good helper, following her around to check things out. She also says I seem to spend all my spare time looking for the next adorable position to sleep in. I've done just fine with kids and adults, with dogs and cats, and even with the bunny who lives in my foster home. I'm perfectly litter-trained, full of love, and should be an easy addition to any home. There's an older cat in my foster home who never likes anybody, and I even melted her heart! How can you beat that? Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |

BrandonLife was pretty tough for me for awhile. I didn’t have enough to eat, and while I was traveling trying to find a home, getting some shut eye in a big tree, some dogs found me and alerted their humans. Lucky for me, it was the home of one of Noah’s Ark’s adoption counselors. I had an eye injury, and guess what; they took me to a doctor who treated me. I now have a permanent wink, but do just fine with one eye. I have spent many months at Noah’s Ark, getting to eat all I want, and gaining weight. Everyone is sad to see me go, especially my buddy Ian, but he said it really was time for me to find my own home. After all, Noah’s Ark needs to be able to rescue other cats like me who are in need. I’m still a young guy, about 2-3 years old, and have a lovely grey tabby coat. I really hope that my next home is a forever home. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |
|
MelanieDrop dead gorgeous is the word for me, but I haven’t let my good looks go to my head. I have a great disposition, and at 6 years young am the perfect age. My lovely long hair will need some brushing, but don’t you just think my cream, beige and dark brown colors are worth it? They say I look like a Siamese – Himalayan mix. How about these glacial blue eyes, so big and beautiful, just like me. I no longer have my front claws, so I need an indoor home. I am also so special, I am told, that I get special food. I do very well with it. Can I join you at your home? Noah’s Ark note: Melanie has experienced irritation in the urinary tract, so just to be safe, she should continue on a food that limits further irritation. Available at PetSmart or veterinary offices. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |

CalMy name is Cal, and I’m a beautiful orange and white male cat, about 5 years old. My family moved and I got lost trying to find my old home. They didn’t try to find me; I guess they just didn’t want me anymore. I was feeling down, but a really nice lady, who found me in Cedar Rapids, traced me back to Noah’s Ark, and they came and got me and said not to worry, a great big handsome guy like me would find a home in no time. I don’t have any claws on any of my paws, and I hear that some places in Des Moines would like me that way. I’m a little nervous about all this, just please give me a moment to get to know you. I really would like to be your forever friend. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |

AllieI’m Allie, a lovely black female cat about a year or so old. I was living on the streets of Fairfield, and sometimes had food. Life wasn’t too bad, but there were so many of us, and with winter coming up soon I was a little concerned. I had a bad cold that needed some medicine, so when a nearby office worker found me, I was only too glad to come to Noah’s Ark. I am a very sweet girl, and let me tell you, I know how to appreciate a good home when I finally find one. I hope I find one soon. Our cat adoption fee of $55 includes spay/neuter, microchip, FELV/FIV test, FVRCP vaccination, and flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments. |

MurphyHi, I’m Murphy. Boy, I have seen a lot lately. I got lost by the Fairfield Public Library until a nice man took me in. Then he said Noah’s Ark would be the place for me to go. I went to the doctor first, he was nice and said he’d fix me right up so I could go to PetSmart and find a home. There are a lot of nice cats here. But in all honesty, I must say I am one of the nicest, and don’t you like my brown tabby coat? I am only 4 months old, but I think I am a pretty big boy, and ready for a home of my own. |
|
ChariseLooking for a young lady, (about 8 months old), with a lovely brown tabby coat with orange highlights? You won’t find a much sweeter girl than me. I may no longer be a scampering kitten, but I am still quite the young one. I was lost for awhile, in Jefferson County Park, until a very nice vet lady found me, took me to the hospital and helped me get better. Then Noah’s Ark said they would help me find a home. I don’t exactly know how that happens, but I heard that a lot of cats and kittens find homes at PetSmart. I would like to meet you, and show you how I can complete your family. |

HawkeyeHawkeye and Pierce are two brothers, 10-12 weeks old, who came to Noah’s Ark shelter recently from rural Stockport. Some of their siblings found homes, but these boys thought PetSmart might be the place for them to find a loving family. To quote Pierce, “Me and my brother are very sweet and cuddly, and we are looking for someone we can love who will love us back. We like to play, cuddle, eat, and nap, among other things. We like to meet new people so come visit us soon!” Both boys are black short hair, neutered, while they look very much alike, Hawkeye has greenish eyes while Pierce has gold. |

DawsonI'm such a handsome young man! I can be a little timid at first, but with a little patience, you'll find I'm full of nothing but sweetness. I sure do enjoy having lap time with my humans, and a tummy rub has always been my favorite. I'm playful when you want me to be, and calm when that's what you need. My foster mom says that morning is my silliest time, so I'll entertain you while you're having your morning coffee! I'm ready to meet my forever family; are you ready to meet me? Oh, by the way, I am 5 months old now, and a really good looking silver black tabby. |
|
BubblesBubbles is my name, and running, frisking, and having fun is my game. I am the fastest girl kitten in the playroom, but when I am tired, the big boys, Brandon and Ian, let me curl up with them for a nap. I am 3-4 months old now, and am white with very cute gray markings, including the grey bubbles on my side. Some folks think I look like a lava lamp. I’ve had fun at Noah’s Ark, especially going out on the screened porch, but mostly I’d like my very own family. Do you know someone who would like to meet me? |

Caleb is a brown and silver tabby, while his brother Camden is a Russian blue mix (grey). Handsome! |

HonzHonz is an absolutely gorgeous guy, with his medium length coat of white, creams, and greys, his striking icy blue eyes, and grey blaze on his nose…he has the features of a Snowshoe mix. Honz is one great big hunk of love, a really BIG boy, 2-3 years old, who enjoys nothing more than having a chat with you while he rolls on his back. Abandoned at Chautauqua Park in Fairfield, he has made great strides at the shelter in becoming the beautiful guy he is meant to be. And Honz says, “I’m ready to find my forever home!” |

PogoHey, everyone, it’s me, Pogo here! I am a boy, 10-12 weeks old, and am a little unsure about coming up to PetSmart. I was living in the country with a LOT of cats….but Noah’s Ark said they’d find me a home so I could have enough to eat, and not have to live outside this winter. They tell me I am a beautiful black and white tuxedo, with a white nose and mouth, paws, and chest. I am looking for a good buddy, is it you? |

ScoopsScoops is a 4-5 month old black and white tuxedo male with a white blaze on his black nose. His paws, feet, bib, and chest are white. This guy is outgoing, active and energetic, the first to greet you as you come to the kitten playroom at the shelter. Scoops says, “It’s been fun at Noah’s Ark, and I really like playing with Colt, but I want a real home of my own. I like to play a lot, do you?” |

MichelleMichelle came to Noah's Ark with her 5 kittens. Hardly more than a teenager herself at about 1 to 1 1/2 years old, we were happy to have her off the streets and safe from harm (and further breeding!). She is a lovely grey short hair, with both dark and lighter shades throughout her coat. There is a tiny white spot on her neck. Michelle got some great TLC while at Noah's Ark, and needs to continue with plentiful food while she regains her health and beauty. A real beauty she is! |

TatumI’m a lovely little girl who is easy as pie to have around. I have just the right amount of spunk, but also really love to be held or curl up on your lap. My foster mom says I have perfect litter box habits, and I’m used to kids, cats, dogs, and even a bunny. I’ve never been outside, and being in the house is fine by me! I have a lot of love to share - wouldn’t I be a perfect addition to your family? By the way, I'm 3 months old. |

By the way, I'm 3 months old. |

Black
Black Black Black is a 2-3 year old adult male, neutered, who has a beautiful medium length black coat with reddish highlights in it. He came to Noah's Ark after his elderly caretaker moved to assisted living. Black Black came in with an injured paw, which seems to be doing just fine now, and he'd most love to be back in a home of his own. Like many male black cats, Black Black has a very sweet, gentle and loving disposition. He's sure to be a favorite at PetSmart, as he certainly is a favorite at Noah's Ark Shelter! |
|
ChipI’m a very affectionate boy who loves to be held and snuggled. I can be very playful, and also love to have some “lap time.” My foster mom called me “Chip” because I have little white spots on the tips of my ears that almost make them look chipped. My litter box habits are perfect, and in my foster home, I was with kids, cats, dogs, and even a bunny. I’ve never been outside, and am perfectly happy in the house! How about you and me, forever? By the way, I'm 3 months old. |
