can adopt a Noah's Ark cat at our shelter in Fairfield, Iowa, and at the
PetSmart Charities Adoption Center in Clive, Iowa.
Our Cat Adoption Fee is $65 and includes the following:
- Spay or Neuter
- Microchip
- FeLV/FIV screening test
- FVRCP vaccinations
- Flea, parasite, and ear mite precautionary treatments
- 30 day gift of ShelterCare

Shelter Cat Adoptions
If you would like to adopt a cat, an adoption counselor is available during
most shelter open hours (Tuesday through Saturday from 1:00–4:00). If
you are traveling some distance to Fairfield and desire a "same day"
adoption, please call us (641-472-6080) in advance to schedule an appointment.
If you would like to know more about a specific cat before you visit the
shelter, please call us at 641-472-6080, or send
us an email. Our Cat
Adoption Application (in PDF format) can be completed at the shelter
or mailed to us. Adoptions will be completed once the application is processed,
and the health and medical work is current for the cat or kitten you wish
to adopt.
